Google Maps and Windows 8 Tablet

Windows 8 Consumer Preview comes with a map application pre-installed, however today I tried to look up an address using Google Maps.  Unfortunately, Google Maps are useless on a Windwos 8 Tablet without using a mouse. Zooming on the map does not chagne the scale of the map but rather zooms in on the actual image of the map.  Not sure who is to blame here, Microsoft or Google, but I really hope that by the time Windows 8 is released this issue is resolved.
