Once you create a PowerApp, you need the capability to share the app with users. How do we do that ? Let’s take a look.
To share a PowerApp, the app has to be saved in the cloud. Local apps cannot be shared.
If you are using PowerApps studio, click on File -> Share. This will open up the sharing screen on the web browser.
If you are using powerapps.com, in the left navigation bar, select Apps and select the ellipsis next to the app you want to share then select Share.
Both the options, take you to the same screen. Here you can enter the email address or user group that you want the share the app with.
There are 3 permission levels:
Can Use: Users with this permission level can use the app. They cannot edit or share the app with other users.
Can Edit: Users with this permission level can edit and publish the app. They can also share the app with users and assign Can Use permission level.
Owner: User with this permission level can edit and publish the app. They can share the app with users and assign Can Use or Can Edit permission levels.
Note: Currently apps can be shared with only individuals within your organization.
