This is an off-topic post that will not talk about BI at all.
Yesterday, I wrote a quick post about using the Earlier() DAX function to generate an index column in Power Pivot. There is nothing earthshattering in that post; the reason I decided to write it was because I tried to do a web search on the topic yesterday and it yielded no results. Now that it has been about 12 hours since I wrote it I decided to do a web search again in both Bing and Google to see if my post would come up.
I will not comment on my research, but rather will just paste the two screen shots from both search providers, and let you decide who does a better job.
